2023 Top 100 Prospects

This is our May update of the Top 100 Prospects list, with movement to reflect reporting as well as MLB front office feedback during the first month of the minor league season.
While we update throughout the month to account for player graduations, once a month in-season we take a look at the entire Top 100 rankings to adjust as needed. Because our first in-season team Top 30 Prospects rankings will not update for several more weeks, this Top 100 update may mean that temporarily our Top 100 rankings order and our Team Top 30 Prospects lists orders may not always match. Those will be brought back in harmony with our June Top 100 Prospects update and our first in-season Team Top 30 Prospects update.
To be eligible for the list, a prospect must not have exceeded 130 MLB at-bats, 50 innings pitched or 30 pitching appearances. MLB service time does not factor into Baseball America’s prospect eligibility qualifications.

Kyle Harrison
Giants LHPNotes:Tools: Fastball: 70 | Slider: 60 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 45
Skinny: There's not much of a doubt about Harrison's pure stuff, but advanced hitters and the challenging environment of the Pacific Coast League have shown him early that he needs to tighten his command to succeed at the highest level. He's still quite young, so there's plenty of time to develop.Less
