Jonny Homza

Homza is the best player to come out of Alaska in years. Most scouts saw him as more of a solid college player than a pro prospect out of high school, but he did add strength and power in the spring. Scouts grade Homza as a 40 or 45 runner and his feet are a bit heavy in the infield, making it likely that he'll move to third base as a professional. There are questions about his pitch recognition and pure hittability, and he'll need lots of at-bats to learn to tap into his average raw power.
