Coming out of high school, Jackson evoked comparisons to Domonic Brown, thanks to his extra large 6-foot-5 frame and power potential. That power potential didn't make it to Knoxville for quite a while. Over his first three years at Tennessee, Jackson hit just four home runs. As a senior, Jackson finally broke through, hitting .333 and slugging .507 with eight home runs. His offense will have to carry him, as he profiles best in left field defensively and doesn't have a plus tool. He might be a top ten rounds pick as a senior signing for an underslot deal.
