Leasher barely kept his ERA under 10.00 as a freshman at Morehead State, but he has been one of the most productive pitchers in the Ohio Valley Conference the past two seasons. Leasher ranked ninth in strikeouts per nine innings as a sophomore. He went 9-3, 4.19 as a junior with 105 strikeouts and 32 walks in 92.1 innings. Leasher is a 6-foot-4 lefthander with an 87-91 mph fastball with good angle, a slider that flashes above-average and a usable changeup.
