Max Gamboa

Gamboa is the owner of one of the most electric arms on the west coast, with a 94-96 mph fastball and the ability to blow it past good hitters. He stands a projectable 6-foot-5, 185 pounds, leaving some to dream he can throw even harder. Despite his velocity, Gamboa's ERA got worse every year at Peppedine, capped by a 5.05 ERA in a junior season shortened by arm tenderness.
