Dalton's father Kight Higgins was a 19th-round pick of the Blue Jays in 1985 after a solid career at Texas Christian that included him throwing a no-hitter. The younger Higgins has fit in nicely at Dallas Baptist as a hard-throwing setup man who gets the occasional save. Higgins sits at 92-93 mph with his fastball and needs to improve the consistency of his slider. It will flash average, but more often it's a below-average offering.
