Willow was one of the standouts at the 2016 Area Code Games, where he made plenty of hard contact and even smacked a home run. He has intriguing tools, particularly with his righthanded bat. At the Area Code Games, Willow showed a loose, fluid stroke and quick hands. He has a broad-shouldered 6-foot-2 frame that allows him to generate torque and drive the ball with authority. His timing wasn't quite the same during the spring with the Canadian Junior National team, as he was facing professional pitching. Willow is an instinctive defender with a plus arm at third base. He is a below-average runner but his feet works well at the hot corner. He is committed to UC Santa Barbara, where he could further prove himself offensively and develop into a higher draft pick down the line, though his power potential could entice a team to take a shot on him this year.
