Martorano is an average runner. He has a chance to be a five-tool catcher if he can add strength and polish his game as he matures. Martorano caught at the Area Code Games, East Coast Pro, and the Maplezone Invitational, handling with care some of the best pitchers in the nation. He is expected to be a difficult sign where he fits, and should be an immediate contributor at North Carolina.
