Fuller could be the fourth draft pick out of Griffin (Ga.) High since 2008, joining Tim Beckham, Telvin Nash and Cornelius Randolph. Fuller is similar to Nash in some respects; like Nash, Fuller has plus-plus raw power, though Fuller is a lefthanded hitter. An accomplished football player, Fuller remains raw in terms of baseball skills, but he's a strong athlete and has made improvements this spring. His power plays over the fence to left and he's capable of pulling moonshots to right. Fuller was a bit overmatched against quality high school pitching on the summer showcase circuit but showed flashes offensively. He played center field this spring, but he's likely to move to left field or first base as a pro. Scouts who have gotten close with Fuller note that he comes from a challenging upbringing and believe his development will have to be handled carefully for him to reach his prodigious ceiling as a middle of the lineup power bat. His relative lack of experience will likely mean that Fuller spends the first couple years of his professional career in rookie ball or at a short season affiliate. He's likely to hear his name called somewhere between the third and fifth round.
