A senior, Kranson emerged in 2015 with a big regional performance for Cal and hit six home runs on the season. He wasn't drafted and returned as a senior for a disappointing Bears club but combines solid power from the left side with a knack for making contact. The 5-foot-9, 210-pounder had just 26 strikeouts in 213 at-bats while tying for the team lead with 15 doubles. Kranson doesn't have a defensive home, though he has caught in the past as well as playing first base, third base and left field.
