  Track Record: Rodriguez signed with the Dodgers out of Mexico in 2019 but had his debut delayed by the pandemic that wiped out the 2020 minor league season. He spent his first two seasons in the Dominican Summer League, then two more at the Class A levels before splitting his 2025 season between Double-A and Triple-A. His season ended on Sept. 7 with a knee injury that necessitated placement on the 60-day injured list.
  
  Scouting Report: Rodriguez is big and physical and uses a funky delivery to wipe hitters out with an array of wicked pitches. He gets deception thanks to a hip turn and his pitches play up thanks to between 6.8 and 7.1 feet of extension. His changeup is the gem of his arsenal and grades as the best in the system. It comes in at around 86 mph, has more than a foot of horizontal break and garnered a miss rate of 65%. His four-seam and sinking fastballs each sit in the mid 90s and peak around 99. The sinker is the better of the two variants, but he needs to do a much better job commanding both versions. Rodriguez’s slider also gave hitters fits. The mid-80s bender has short, sharp break at its best, but his command of the pitch is also scattershot.
  
  The Future: In a vacuum, Rodriguez’s combination of velocity, movement and deception can bring hitters to their knees. He’ll need to drastically improve his command to get the most out of his stuff.
