Jacob Stevens

Stevens has a physical 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame, and he's always shown intriguing arm speed. Stevens velocity was more in the mid to upper 80s for most of his summer as a rising senior, then he took the velocity jump that scouts expected during the fall, hitting 93 at the WWBA Championships in Jupiter. Stevens has one of the cleanest arm actions in this year's class and could add even more velocity. While he's been able to touch plus velocity, he has yet to show that he can sustain that type of stuff deep into outings. Stevens is a perceived tough sign due to his strong academic record and commitment to Boston College.
