Karsen Lindell

Lindell's pitching coach is Kevin Gunderson, the hero reliever for Oregon State's 2006 national championship club. He's helped Lindell develop a polished delivery that he repeats, producing good control of three solid-average pitches that both have room to grow. At a listed 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Lindell has room to fill out and improved his fastball velocity this spring, sitting 89-91 mph and touching 92-93 fairly regularly. His slider and changeup, particularly the slider, can flash good potential, with the slider at times featuring late break and tight rotation. He's committed to Washington and may be a tough sign.
