Sedio was putting together a loud season for Miami as a junior before he broke his hamate halfway through the spring. He returned that summer to .406 with 16 home runs in the Coastal Plain League. Sedio's range is fringe-average at shortstop but he has the above-average arm that would also play in third base or right field. Sedio doesn't run particularly well but he has a track record of hitting for average or power at the college level, he just struggles to do both at the same time.
