Reid pitched as a starter and reliever for parts of two seasons with Oklahoma State before transferring to Abilene Christian in 2025 and taking on a full-time starter role. Listed at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, Reid throws a fastball that sits in the 92-93 mph range and has been up to 96. His go-to secondary is a low-80s changeup he throws to both lefties and righties with strong ability to land at the bottom of the zone. Reid also throws a breaking ball in the 78-83 mph range that varies between a three-quarter breaking ball and more of a sweepy slider. He’s done a nice job improving his control as a junior with Abilene Christian.
