Mosiello entered the spring as a potential top-10 round talent thanks to a strong 2021 season with Oregon out of the bullpen with terrific strikeout and walk numbers and a strong summer in the Cape Cod League where he posted a 2.01 ERA over 22.1 innings with Harwich. Things backed up for the 6-foot-2, 210-pound righthander in 2022 however. His fastball velocity backed up a tick and his strike throwing backed up quite a bit. He posted a 4.88 ERA over 24 innings and struck out 20 (17.5 K%) batters while walking 21 (18.4 BB%) and struggled to find the zone consistently. Mosiello has a four-pitch mix, including a fastball that averaged 89-90 mph this spring and touched 93, a mid-80s slider that looks like a cutter at times, a slower curveball in the mid 70s and a mid-80s changeup.
