Zeek White

White was not a regular on the showcase circuit, and his prospect stock began to pick up steam after he showed intriguing tools at the East Coast Professional Showcase in August. He is raw, but scouts can dream on his projection. White is an exceptional athlete, with plus-plus speed being his most potent tool. He runs the 60-yard dash in 6.4 seconds and knows how to use his speed on the basepaths. He has fringy arm strength and below-average bat speed, though scouts project him to add strength as he fills in his wide, sloped shoulders. White has some feel at the plate, though he'll have to cut down on his swing-and-miss issues and develop an approach more conducive to his tools when he reaches the next level. He earns good marks for his makeup and coachability, leading scouts to believe in his projection. White is committed to East Carolina, though scouts believe he is signable.
