Joe Harvey

A fourth-year junior who redshirted his freshman year because of a knee injury, Harvey went undrafted last year after working out of the bullpen his first two seasons. The 22-year-old moved into the rotation this season and had a strong season in the Friday night role. He pitches at 90-92 mph and touches 94 with sink and fastball life. His control has improved significantly. While he has a durable build at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, his lighter secondary stuff prompts some scouts to project him as a reliever. His curveball flashes average but plays well below that. His changeup also needs development.
