Christo was physically mature at a young age and stood 6-foot-4, 225 pounds as a high schooler when he ranked as the No. 151 prospect in the 2021 draft class. He made it to campus at Nebraska but struggled to live up to his lofty expectations and pitched sparingly in 2022 and 2023. He had an excellent fall prior to his 2024 junior season and through his first eight starts the now 6-foot-4, 230-pound righty posted a 4.82 ERA with just a 17.1% strikeout rate. Christo throws a low-90s fastball that touches 94-95 and pairs it with an 80-85 mph slider, a mid-80s changeup and a slower 77-81 mph curveball. He looks the part of a workhorse starter on the mound but needs to find something to miss more bats.
