After two years at Des Moines Area CC, Crawford transferred to Minnesota and finished his career as the Golden Gophers' Friday starter. He has bumped 93 mph in shorter relief roles in the past, and the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder throws a lot of strikes as a starter with an 88-91 mph fastball. He throws his breaking ball and changeup for strikes as well. Crawford doesn't have a separator, put-away pitch but has above-average control, with just 29 walks in 149 career college innings.
