Nick Tanielu

Tanielu, originally from Alabama, moved to Washington as a high school freshman and stayed in-state to become Washington State's top hitter the last two seasons. He redshirted as a freshman but has done nothing but hit since getting on the field, including a .336 mark in 2012 in the wood-bat Northwoods League. Tanielu has a compact, quick swing that helps him cover the plate and produce gap power. He's a decent athlete and fielder at third base who lacks profile power for the position.
