  All Briley Ware can do is hit. He's well below-average at third base and doesn't really project much anywhere else. Then there's the body. He's a thick 5-foot-8, 195-pounder who is a bottom-of-the-scale runner. But Ware can really hit with power that seems out of place with his approach and swing. Ware's stats this year at Neosho County (Kan.) CC go beyond crazy into the world of impossible--he hit .560/.660/1.128, winning the sabermetric triple crown in JUCO baseball. He hit 29 home runs, was hit by 29 pitches and walked 37 times while striking out only 14 times all season. Ware, an Oklahoma signee, isn't just benefitting from baked infields and the wind blowing out--he can drive the ball to all fields. His swing begins with a low set to his hands and almost no load. His bat stays in the zone a long time, but when he connects, the ball carries and carries.
