One of the taller pitchers in the 2025 class, Allen is a lanky righthander with a 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame who attacks with a two-pitch mix. He throws a fastball around 90 mph that has been up to 93. The pitch should continue to add velocity as he gets stronger, and his extension should allow the pitch to play up either way. His primary secondary is a true 12-to-6 curveball with solid depth that could become an above-average offering, though he might need to add a bridge pitch in between the fastball and curveball to help him find the zone more frequently. Syncing up his release point and throwing more strikes will be key.
