Jordan impressed as an underclassman at the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Fla. in October 2022, when he touched 91 mph. His velocity ticked up from that point and he put himself into a tier of high school players that has some of the most exciting pure stuff in the class. Listed at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Jordan has a strong body and long, whippy arm action that includes a full arm swing in the back and a low three-quarters slot. He drops deep into his legs in his delivery and creates a tough angle for hitters, but that same delivery causes questions for scouts because of his arm action and lack of command. He has a lively running fastball that sits in the low 90s and has been up to 95 mph. His slider is a standout swing-and-miss pitch with plus potential in the low 80s. He leans heavily on the breaking ball, which can start on the outer rail to righties before sweeping with sharp lateral break to induce chases and ugly swings. Jordan also has a changeup but doesn’t use it much. He’s committed to Florida State and has a chance to wind up there because of his reliever risk.

BA Grade/Risk: 45/Average
Adjusted Grade: 35
Track Record: Jordan was a regular on the summer showcase circuit as a prep and elevated his draft stock during his senior year by boosting his velocity while leading Viera High to a Florida district title. The Angels were bullish on his size and projection and drafted him in the fifth round in 2024. They signed him away from a Florida State commitment with a $1.25 million bonus on par with slot values late in the second round. Jordan’s pro debut in 2025 was stellar. He pitched to a 2.36 ERA over 76.1 innings between the Arizona Complex League and the Low-A California League, pitching in both leagues’ championship series openers.
Scouting Report: Jordan is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound righthander with a drop-and-drive delivery and slingy, low three-quarters arm slot. His plus extension down the mound gives him an effective sinker/slider combo. His fastball sits 91-94 mph and touches 96 with more than 16 inches of run when operating as a sinker in the lower quadrants. Jordan’s low-80s sweeper flashes above-average and plays well off his fastball, staying on a heater plane before snapping off to his glove side. He has solid command and attacks the zone with both pitches, with most misses being by small margins. Jordan has a rudimentary changeup that projects as a passable third option, with fair fade to his arm side to keep lefthanded hitters honest. Both of Jordan’s secondaries flash promise, though both need more consistency. As he continues maturing physically, he should be able to maintain velocity and mechanical consistency throughout workloads and reach his workhorse starter projection. He is praised for his competitive makeup.
The Future: Jordan needs to fine-tune his secondaries but has the foundation of a back-of-the-rotation sinker/sweeper starter.

BA Grade/Risk: 45/Extreme.
Track Record: Jordan was a regular on the summer showcase circuit prior to his junior and senior prep seasons and elevated his draft stock by regularly sitting in the low 90s with an alluring frame and arsenal as a senior at Viera (Fla.) High. The Angels were bullish on his size and projection and selected him in the fifth round of the 2024 draft, buying him out of a Florida State commitment with a $1.25 million bonus on par with slot values late in the second round.
Scouting Report: Jordan is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound projection arm with present strength and room for physical gains. He throws a lively low-90s fastball that touches 95 mph and he can elevate the pitch for strikeouts and also sink it lower in the zone for groundouts. His low-80s sweeping slider flashes plus, staying on a fastball plane before snapping off to the lefthanded batter’s box. Jordan is more control than command right now. He can locate his fastball-slider combo for strikes but lacks true precision. His breaker can soften, lessening its swing-and-miss impact. Typical of young arms, he rarely uses a rudimentary, fading changeup. Jordan has a drop-and-drive delivery and a low three-quarters arm slot. He’ll need to continue adding strength to help his arm action remain consistent and improve his strike-throwing.
The Future: Jordan will begin his pro career as a starter in the low minors in 2025. He has back-of-the-rotation upside as a pitchability sinker/slider arm if he can harness his command and improve his changeup.

Jordan impressed as an underclassman at the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Fla. in October 2022, when he touched 91 mph. Since then, he has taken off to put himself into the group of the elite pitchers in the country for 2024. Listed at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Jordan has long, whippy arm action in a full arm swing into a low three-quarters slot and sinks deep into his legs in his delivery. It creates a difficult angle for hitters and lively arm-side run on a fastball that parks in the low 90s, reaches 95 mph and should have more velocity to come. Jordan’s slider was a high swing-and-miss pitch before and is even more so now that he’s throwing everything with more power. It’s a low-80s slider with plus potential that he leans on heavily. It starts on the outer third to righties and sweeps away with sharp lateral break to rack up whiffs. Jordan has a changeup as well but doesn’t throw it much yet. He is committed to Florida State.
