  Winnay is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound outfielder and first baseman who pairs a solid approach with good angles off the bat. Winnay hit 35 homers during the 2024-25 seasons at Wake Forest while flirting with a .300 average during that span. He isn’t the toolsiest player or most advanced pure hitter, but Winnay generally swings at the right pitches, takes walks where they are given, gets the ball in the air to the pull side and hits his hardest balls at positive launch angles. While he played in an advantageous hitter-friendly college park, those skills are coveted in pro ball and could help him continue to profile as a right-right corner bat.

  Winnay is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound outfielder who has shown an impressive power and on-base combination as a draft-eligible sophomore with Wake Forest. He slashed .331/.435/.721 with 14 home runs through his first 38 games, though almost all of that power is accessed via the pull side and there’s some swing-and-miss against all pitch types. He’ll need to improve his defensive ability in a corner outfield spot as well, but could earn day three interest after performing and being seen frequently as part of a prospect-laden Wake team. He could be a tough sign in that range as an eligible sophomore.
