Moss is a lanky righthander with a 6-foot-4, 190-pound frame who has pitched effectively out of Texas A&M’s bullpen in 2024 and 2025. He has an overhead windup and throws from a three-quarters arm slot, with a starter-esque arsenal but fringy control. Moss works off a fastball/changeup/slider combination and actually threw his changeup more frequently than any other pitch in the 2025 spring season. His fastball sits 92-93 mph and will touch 95, though scouts believe he has a chance for both an above-average changeup and breaking ball. He does a great job turning over his low-to-mid-80s changeup and has more feel to land that pitch than any of his others. His low-80s slider blends in shape and occasionally has more of a short cutter look in the 84-85 mph range. Moss could have enough starter traits for a team to try him in that capacity in pro ball, and he could still add more strength to his frame that could lead to a bit more power to his fastball. His talent fits in rounds seven to 10.
