A team selecting Brosky will be picking an extremely productive pitcher who will likely need to add more velocity to have success in pro ball. Brosky's resume is excellent. A transfer who pitched at Ohio as a freshman, he was the Horizon League's pitcher of the year in 2022, going 6-7, 2.65 with five complete games (second best in Division I) for Youngstown State. Brosky relies heavily on a high-80s fastball that has solid carry and a flat plane thanks to his 5-foot-10, 190-pound stature. His fastball sets up a high-70s slider with plenty of depth.
