Alex Iadisernia

Iadisernia has been a standout hitter for Elon since he stepped on campus, but he broke out during the 2021 season when he led the team and was third in the Colonial Athletic Association with a .368 average. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound right fielder hit .276/.383/.463 with nearly as many walks (33) as strikeouts (37) in 2022 and scouts generally like his hitting traits. He has a solid batting eye and rarely expands the zone or swings and misses. While the swing and contact ability are clear, there’s not a ton of impact, so teams might want to see how well he can play center field, though he’s an average runner with an average arm. Iadisernia has been a savvy baserunner in his career and in 2022 went 14-for-17 in stolen bases. He also has a summer track record after hitting .345/.414/.605 with 10 home runs in 55 games in the Northwoods League in 2021.
