Christian Worley

A 6-foot-1, 170-pound reliever, Worley has few innings under his belt throughout his career with Virginia Tech. He threw only 10 innings this spring and in three seasons has just 36.2 total innings on his resume. He’s shown a solid two-pitch mix when he has been on the mound, and in 2023 he averaged 92 mph on his fastball and touched 95, with a mid-80s slider that generated a 46% miss rate. The pitch has solid tilt and around 2,600 rpm spin. He’s a small and lean reliever who might need to add a bit of bulk to thrive on a professional schedule.
