Seth Keller

Keller is an undersized righthander with a 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame, but he has solid stuff now and shoved at USA Baseball’s National High School Invitational this spring, where he set a new strikeout record for the event (16). Keller has a quick arm, but a violent delivery with a head whack in his finish. He pitches in the low 90s and gets up to 95 mph, with running action that’s likely a byproduct of his lower arm slot. He also shows impressive feel to land a split-change in the 81-83 mph range that has low spin rates around 1,100-1,200 rpm and is a consistent swing-and-miss pitch. Finally, Keller throws a sweepy breaking ball in the low 80s that has 2,400-2,500 rpm spin and features some late turn at the plate. He is committed to Old Dominion and is on the younger side for the class, only turning 18 in late May.
