Hoskins had a quality first season for the Bulldogs, in which he pitched his way to a 4.12 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 19.2 innings. His fastball has been up to 98 with riding life, and performs well in the top half of the zone. Hoskins’ mid-80s gyro slider was his predominant out pitch, and it flashed above-average while garnering plenty of whiffs. He will need to improve both his command and control.
