Over the past two seasons, Betancourt has made a name for himself with impressive hitting displays in the Dominican Summer League. In 2022, Betancourt hit .355/.462/.674 with 11 home runs that tied for third in the DSL.
  
  Scouting Report: Betancourt is an advanced hitter at the plate who shows a balance of contact, approach and power to go with a strong, compact build that leads to explosiveness in his swing. He shows plus bat-to-ball skills and makes contact in the zone at a high rate. He chased just 24.5% of the time in 2022. Betancourt walked more than he struck out during DSL play in 2022 and did so without sacrificing impact. His max exit velocity of 101 mph isn't eye-popping but solid for a teenager still growing into his strength. He makes his hardest contact at his steepest launch angles but doesn't sell out for loft. He's unlikely to stick behind the plate and has already seen a heavy dose of first base and DH.
  
  The Future: Betancourt is a talented hitter with projectable power, but a lack of supporting skills leave his long term defensive role in doubt and put extra pressure on his bat.
