Burns moved to the bullpen full time in 2021 in his fourth year at Oregon State, and he posted a 1-0, 5.16 mark with 32 strikeouts and 20 walks in 22.2 innings. At 6-foot-1, 193 pounds, Burns throws hard and gets his fastball into the mid 90s, but he’s struggled to throw strikes during his time with the Beavers, posting a 6.0 walk rate over 78.1 innings. The 22-year-old righthander rounds out his arsenal with a changeup, slider and curveball.
