Graves is an undersized lefthander listed at just 5-foot-10, 185 pounds, but he’s shown a solid pitch mix to go along with impressive arm speed. There are some moving parts in his delivery, including a deep arm stroke with a bit of a wrist wrap and some heavy recoil in his finish, and those traits add to his reliever risk. Still, he generated plenty of whiffs at the top of the zone while mostly pitching in the upper 80s and getting to 93 mph at peak velocity, with some feel to spin a breaking ball in the 77-80 mph range. He’ll flash a low-80s changeup as well. Graves is committed to Auburn.
