  Schultz showed exceptional raw arm strength on the showcase circuit leading up to his senior year of high school. His fastball peaked at 95 or 96 mph often, though he struggled to sustain velocity over the course of his outings. He has some length to his up-and-back, cock-and-fire arm action, and struggles to repeat his delivery. Schultz had not focused exclusively on pitching until the middle of last summer, and could have some projection left in him as he gains strength and learns how to control his body. Schultz is committed to Tennessee, and could earn immediate playing time for a Volunteers' pitching staff that lacks power arms.
