Neeck was viewed as a potential top five round pick out of high school thanks to his athleticism and projectability. But the 6-foot-1, 190 pound lefty never fully put it together in four seasons at Virginia. His best season as a Cavalier was in 2021, when he went 2-0, 1.93 out of the bullpen. This year, he split time between relieving and starting. He has an average fastball and slider and a below-average changeup, but his below-average control has kept him from getting the most from his arsenal.
