An Indiana native, Logan is a standout multi-sport athlete who plays outfield and is also a four-star, ball-hawking safety on the gridiron committed to in-state Notre Dame. Because of Logan’s talent on the football field and longstanding football commitment, MLB scouts are uncertain if they will get a shot to sign him. He could be an impact player if he ever winds up focusing on baseball full-time. He’s a double-plus runner who turned in the second-best 60-yard dash time at the 2024 East Coast Pro showcase (6.51 seconds) and has the speed and athleticism to become an impact defender in center field. He uses a crouched, grounded setup in the righthanded batter’s box, but has a chance to develop above-average power potential thanks to solid bat speed. Like many high-end two-sport athletes, Logan’s pure hitting needs more refinement, but in terms of pure upside, tools and athleticism—Logan is one of the more exciting players in the class.
