Gallagher played two seasons with Sante Fe (Fla.) JC before transferring to East Tennessee State for the 2025 season. He hit .276/.473/.665 with 20 home runs, 10 doubles and 77 strikeouts to 66 walks while serving as the Bucs’ everyday third baseman. A 5-foot-10, 175-pound righthanded hitter, Gallagher’s carrying offensive tool is his batting eye. He walked more than he struck out in junior college, and while his strikeouts ballooned against Division I competition, he still rarely expanded the zone and took his walks. His 25.8% walk rate was one of the best marks of any Division I hitter with at least 250 plate appearances. Gallagher has impressive pullside power for his slight frame and has the arm to stick at the hot corner. Gallagher is an average athlete and runner. He could fit in rounds 11-20 and is committed to Kansas State after entering the transfer portal.
