Prince is a 5-foot-9, 175-pound contact merchant who’s played all three outfield positions and a handful of games at catcher with VMI. Prince has always walked at a strong clip in college, and he’s also cut his strikeout rate significantly in each season. He’s a contact-oriented, groundball hitter who slaps the ball the other way with consistency and has extremely impressive contact and in-zone contact rates. He’s a menace on the bases as well, finishing with the third-most steals (46) in Division I in 2025. Prince doesn’t have much power to speak of, hitting just four homers through three college seasons. If a team thinks Prince can catch, it would make him an interesting versatility option, but his old school game, size and lack of power could make him a polarizing prospect.
