Drafted: Never Drafted
2025 served as Arcamone’s coming out party, as the sophomore backstop hit .355/.463/.675 with 22 doubles, 13 home runs and 62 RBIs. He set a new career-high in every statistical category and saw his draft stock skyrocket. However, he committed to Georgia out of the transfer portal and was never selected. Arcamone is a data darling who stands out for his underlying batted-ball numbers. This spring, he posted an average exit velocity of 92.9 mph and a 90th percentile exit velocity of 108.1 to go along with multiple batted balls with EVs north of 110. Arcamone is consistently on the barrel and generates quality compact. His ability to create leverage and pull the ball in the air helps him maximize his power in-game, a tool he had no problem getting to this spring. As a cherry on top, he has a sound approach and chased at a 25% overall clip. Arcamone has a strong arm behind the plate, but his overall defensive skillset is crude and needs work. -
School: Richmond Drafted/Committed: Never Drafted
Age At Draft: 21.0
BA Grade: 45/High
Arcamone was one of the most productive bats in the Atlantic 10 across two seasons at Richmond. As a draft-eligible sophomore in 2025, he hit .355/.463/.675 with 13 home runs and 22 doubles in 52 games. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound lefthanded hitter shows exceptional feel for the barrel and posted standout batted-ball metrics, including a 93 mph average exit velocity, 33% barrel rate and 20.6% chase rate. He hits from a closed stance with a toe tap and barrel tip, but maintains consistent timing and handles both velocity and spin effectively. While his 82% zone contact rate is modest, his ability to hit for power without expanding the zone makes him a dangerous offensive threat. Arcamone is a fair athlete with an average arm, but there are questions about his ability to stick behind the plate. His receiving and blocking remain a concern, and he spent significant time at designated hitter in 2025 while also logging 18 games in left field the prior summer. Though his defensive future is unclear, his offensive profile gives him early-round potential. If a team believes it can unlock enough catching value or find a home elsewhere on the diamond, Arcamone could climb high on draft boards.
