DeSanto pitched as a starter for two seasons with St. Joseph’s before moving to Penn State for his 2025 junior season. Listed at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, DeSanto throws a four-pitch mix headlined by a fastball that sits around 90 mph. He will get up to 93 mph with the pitch, but despite its power he does a nice job throwing it for strikes and creates some deception with a crossfire delivery and low three-quarters slot. He will also mix in a slider in the upper 70s, a changeup around 80 mph and a slow, top-down curveball in the low 70s.
