Jannicelli is a hyper projectable righthander with a high-waisted, long-levered frame at 6-foot-5, 175 pounds. He sits in the low 90s early in outings before tapering off into the upper 80s in the fifth and sixth innings, with a pair of solid secondaries. His 78-80 mph breaking ball flashes late biting action at its best but will blend between a slider and curveball at times, while his 78-82 mph changeup might be his most advanced pitch. It’s a high-usage changeup for a prep pitcher and features the sort of diving action that gives it a chance to become an above-average secondary.
