Molony stepped right into Oregon’s lineup as a freshman in 2024 and produced at a rock-solid clip. He was an all-Pac-12 first-teamer after hitting .315 with 10 home runs and then replicated his performance once again in 2025 as a sophomore. Overall, he’s a .314/.405/.569 hitter with 25 home runs and 12 doubles in his two college seasons. A 6-foot-2, 210-pound righthander and shortstop, Molony has a simple operation in the box and a pull-heavy approach. He has strong bat-to-ball skills to the tune of a 91% overall in-zone contact rate and is consistently on the barrel, though he did struggle in a 29-game stint in the Cape Cod League in the 2025 summer.
