As a thin, 6-foot righthander, Stutzman has a fast arm and drives down the mound well with his lower half to throw a fastball up to 94 mph from a low release height. He complements it with an outstanding changeup that he sells well by maintaining his arm speed. It comes in more than 10 mph off his fastball and has excellent fade and deception, giving him a bat-missing pitch against both lefties and righties.
