An explosive player with a quick first step, Washington has good range and tracks balls well with the ability to make highlight grabs and a plus arm. Washington’s offensive game took a step forward with a huge spring season in 2025. He’s not an elite pure hitter—his swing can still get big with swing-and-miss tendencies—but with strong forearms, fast hands and above-average bat speed, Washington can produce some of the better exit velocities in the class when he gets off his "A" swing. His speed helps him leg out extra-base hits and makes him a potential high stolen base threat.
