Parker is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound first baseman who the Twins drafted in the 19th round of the 2023 draft. He didn’t sign and became a draft-and-follow player after enrolling with Chipola (Fla.) JC for the 2024 season. Parker led the team in hitting as a freshman and slashed .338/.465/.534 with four home runs and 12 doubles in 51 games. He’s a big and filled out lefthanded hitter with raw power but features a sizable hand hitch and bat tip in his load and a crouched stance that hasn’t allowed him to fully tap into that power just yet.
