  Holloway is a big 6-foot-5 lefty with a fastball that has climbed to sit in the low-to-mid 90s and touch 97 mph. It’s a strong fastball that gets a lot of empty swings, and he does it without much effort to his mechanics and throws it for strikes. Holloway leans heavily on his fastball as the predominant pitch in his repertoire. He will mix in a mid-to-upper 80s changeup at times and an occasional upper-80s cutter, so while he can dominate hitters at this level with his fastball, the development of his secondary pitches is what scouts will be watching as the draft gets closer.
