Freshcorn began his career at McLennan (Texas) JC, then transferred to Texas A&M in 2025, where he posted a 4.67 ERA and 28.0% strikeout rate in 27 innings—all out of the bullpen. He’s a 6-foot, 180-pound righty with a big leg kick and high-effort delivery to go with a three-pitch mix. His fastball checks in around 94-95 mph and will touch 96, and he throws both an upper-80s cutter and a mid-80s slider as primary secondary pitches. Freshcorn has thrown a handful of mid-80s changeups but rarely uses the pitch.
