Evasco is an extra-large first baseman and lefthanded hitter with a 6-foot-6, 225-pound frame and big power potential. He has solid strength and raw power now, but has plenty of room to add more strength to his frame in the future and could impact the baseball at a high level when he learns to more frequently get the bat head out in front of the plate. Evasco doesn’t always get fully extended currently, and he tends to pull out in the box, but he’s a surprisingly good runner for his size—enough that he might get a chance to play a corner outfield position. Evasco is committed to Kansas State and will be 19 just after the draft and a draft-eligible sophomore if he makes it to campus.
