Committed: Mississippi State
Andersen has a sound delivery, fast arm speed and the ball comes out of his hand with ease and power, showing some similarities to 2025 righthander Landon Harmon. His fastball sits at 92-96 mph, reaches 98 and there’s still more space for Andersen to fill out his 6-foot-4 frame. A triple-digits fastball could be in his future, though for a pitcher with Andersen’s velocity, there are outings where hitters have been able to barrel him up with surprising frequency. Anderson’s low-to-mid 80s changeup gets good separation off his heater with sink and fade to give him a solid weapon against lefties. Anderson throws a curveball and a slider that are both fringe-average pitches at best, so the development of a more reliable breaking ball will be key. -

His fastball sits at 92-96 mph and reaches 98. There’s still more space for Andersen to fill out his 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame, so a triple-digit fastball could be in his future. That said, for a pitcher with Andersen’s velocity, there are outings when hitters have been able to barrel him up with surprising frequency. Andersen’s low-to-mid 80s changeup gets good separation off his heater with sink and fade to give him a solid weapon against lefties and might be his best non-fastball offering. He needs to continue developing his breaking balls, but showed some promise with a hard mid-80s slider and a 78-84 mph curveball with solid depth during the 2025 circuit. Andersen is committed to Mississippi State.
